John and Denée Holloway
Ruth loved a day out at the Holloways. Denée and John lived with their family in Kingston, near Lewes. They all had a passion for wildlife conservation and the environment. Josse was always excited to see what new wildlife the children had in their downland garden, moths, caterpillars and orchids, while the adults talked art. John was a wonderful landscape photographer and Denée created stunning textual murals which Ruth must have found most inspirational.
