Invitations to Ruth's exhibitions
In 1967 Derek became artist in residence at the University of Sussex, opening up new connections and Ruth joined Derek to put on an exhibition, but this was to be her penultimate and in 1981 the Peter Dingley Gallery, in Stratford upon Avon, saw her last solo. She sold out at the show, but her lack of self-confidence sadly contributed to her reluctance to exhibit her work again.
