Experiment in Portugal l
After a trip to Portugal in 2004, in which Ruth and Derek joined Freek in his magnificent studio, a new side to Ruth's talent appeared. It seemed Freek must have encouraged her to break from the usual still-life with its vase centre stage and instead, off-set the composition for a change. Some of the resulting work was quite outstanding.
