Donald and Dora Lambert

Ruth was born on 5th February 1930 at Walton-on-Thames to Donald and Dora Lambert. Her parents were generous, loving and never idle, which was reflected in Ruth's whole being. Don, her father, worked on the Liberty Bell, and was one of the first computer designers, later leaving to take up cabinetmaking. Her mother worked on early blueprints for the WW1 planes and after the war became a skilful seamstress.
